I've never been at a wedding there, (well sort of) but I discovered it for the first time last April with my family and we booked to go back next month because we enjoyed it so much. Its a small hotel and family run I think. The food was great (I sampled both bar and restaurant food) and the bar is nice too. The function room looked great for a wedding (My wife and I peeked in at one that was on there.) The rooms are nice. We stayed in an executive room at the front of the hotel. The bridal suite is one of those I assume.

I'd never heard of the place before I looked around for a weekend break. I went in blind, but was pleasantly surprised. Lovely atmosphere, great service and we had our 14 month old daughter with us and the staff were very helpful in that respect too. Theres a really nice leisure centre attached aswell to work off the nights excesses.

I assume you've been in the hotel already, but I'd recommend it from the viewpoint of an ordinary weekend visitor. On your wedding day, I'd say you'll enjoy it even more.

Not from Waterford and no affliation to this hotel, just enjoyed discovering it and its simple straight forward welcoming approach.

Hello, I was at a friends wedding there last month and we had a great day, atmosphere, food, service, band craic was all great. Room looked lovely and my friend was over the moon with everthing from the way she was looked after. She got a great package and said she saved herself a fortune and even the chaircovers were free.
Loved the residents late bar which is down in the cellar.
    We couldnt fault it
