    Greetings,

For the sake of sakness I'm developing some models about falling from planes. It got me wondering does anyone have a link to a website which can list where each topic of maths can be applied and some example proofs?

My own experience has generally been with statistics and discrete maths being applied to geneal computation / number theory problems. I'm going back to basics and refrsehing my mind from leaving cert onwards.

Not precisely sure what you're looking for, but maybe this will help:
    http://www.math.niu.edu/~rusin/known-math/index/beginners.html

So is that the kind of plane you take to Vegas or the kind of plane you draw curves on that you're modelling falling from?

Thanks this is along the lines of what I'm looking for. I guess to summarize in one line

I'm looking for explanations of fields of maths and how they are applicable in different environments as my knowledge is limited to a narrow spectrum.
