    hi i am moving my address into a different town and i need to sign on in that town, i am currently getting my money into my bank account but if i sign on in another town will i have to collect my money in the post office every week or would i be able to get it put in my bank like before? thanks for your help

    as far as i know - a friend of mine had a similar experience two months ago - you can still collect you benefits in the usual way, via your bank account. the department of social welfare, as i still call them, seem more concened with people claiming in another country, and flying into ireland once a month just to sign on, as highlighted in the papers recently.
