    Hey Folks.. Does anyone know about the honours mechanical eng degree? I want to do the energy stream in it, Is this seperated from product design and the biomedical stuff.. I got offered the course and i want to make sure there is alot of focus on renewable energy and what the course is like as i can not reach any head lectures.. Any info would be appreciared...cheers

    Are you going into 4th year?

    Each stream has their own modules but there are core modules which everyone does regardless of stream taken.

    Yeah I am going into 4th year of mechanical.. add on degree.. Is there limitations on the number that can do the energy stream or is it once you get accepted you can choose from there..Cheers

    I'm going into 4th year aswell, there was a low number of students in 3rd year around 24 so I'm sure theres enough places for everyone.

    I would avoid castlepark and some areas of Ballybane.
