Its the final Raw before Summerfest and the question that has dominated nobody's life since the last Raw is how will Orton and Cena coexist against Jericho and the Big Slow? Tonight we get that answer.
I expect they will hype up the Dx match agvinst the unstoppble Legacy and of course an Evan Bourne squash is possible.
Kofi may get a match for Summerfest against who I have no idea though.

So can Orton and Cena work together? 8 votes

They will put their differences aside and overcome the huge odds!

They wont be able to coexist but it will be Ortons fault!

I dont care I am only watching for Chris Masters.

How will the champ and the number 1 contender co-exst against the unified tag-team champions with summerfest less than a week away?! This is the biggest main event in Raw history!!!1111eleven!!!$^&(£!!!

can they coexist depends how are the israeli and the palestines doing these days...........

but lets bring this back to seriousness Freddy Prince Jr, if i was a girl i'd say what a hotty however the fact remains i'm not female, so i'm gonna avoid any banning and say i'm not very fond of the man but we'll see. I missed last weeks raw dunno why but it must be better than the snore fest of two weeks ago.

oh oh i'm gonna go and reckon HHH and x-pac not HHH and HBK and if it is the latter then i'm one disgruntled pony

wow, you guys are awesome at reading this...

all this means is that our 'guest host' now has an excuse not to be much of a 'host' at all or put much work into making appearances in the ring or actually acting. which is a pity.

man dx better arrive with some great stuff and no PG12 stuff cos its boring cos i'm not 12.

would be lovely if they threw in an undertaker angle against dx, legacy and cena. oh to dream

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,181 ✭✭✭Iang87

'Money' Mayweather is next weeks guest host.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,473 ✭✭✭✭Super-Rush

Oooo a lumberjack match is Freddie's revenge on Orton. Not much of a set up for the DX & Legacy feud either.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,943 ✭✭✭Machismo Fan

Dammit, no Chris Masters!!! I feel ripped off.

2 pages? Interest in RAW is at an alltime low on this board, especially considering it was the go home show for Summerfest.

FFS I just read the results at WWE.com. Macauley Culkin? The **** has really hit the fan.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,588 ✭✭✭JP Liz

DX beat down by Legacy - DX so winning at SS

The Miz going for the US title is a smart move - hopefully him and Kofi can build a solid feud i also maybe add Masters and Bourne in the mix also

It was actually a well done spot in fairness. Having FP Jr as general manager was pointless IMO. He was only seen twice, at the very beginning and at the very end. The DX return was utter sh1te, built up for most of the night and then nothing happens apart from Rhodes and DiBiase laying them out. I do expect a DX win at Summerfest. As for the main event which was turned into a lumberjack match by the GM i fell asleep after two or three minutes.

The best match of the night for me was between Miz and Evan Bourne. Miz has set his sights on the US title and was using Bourne as a stepping stone. Great match IMO and they both work really well together. Both Miz and Bourne deserve a better push.

Funny, when I read about the cameo, it was the first time I've actually thought 'Fu**ing brilliant!' about any RAW segment for the last year.

Yeah, but isn't it the equivalent of having Freddie Prinze Jr and Sarah Michelle Gellar running in one door, then running out of the next door at the other side of the hall followed by a Great Dane, a butch lesbian and a guy eating a huge sandwich?

We get the reference, we understand the joke, but it in no way relates to anything on the show and is a reference from about 20 years ago. How was this included? Are Macauley Culkin and Freddie Prinze Jr even friends?

EDIT: Plus, it buries Chavo even further. Knocked out by a prop out of Home Alone? Seriously, what the hell is going man? Its crazy!

I see Cena shook off the RKO at the end pretty quick...

I don't think I'll even bother watching this. Not enough Mark Henry to save this one it looks like.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,242 ✭✭✭✭Rjd2

Jesus that diva match was dreadful, Mickie these days just phones it in and she and Gail were botching like mad last night. James should be sent to Smackdown and jobbed out to Mc Cool because with her current attitude that’s all she deserves unless someone puts a rocket up her backside.

Jolt, our hero faces the equally amazing Chris Masters on Superstars this week.:)

I'm sold! Masters is great too. I'll bet the ratings this week will be their best yet.

It was nice to see Legacy kick DX butt. DX were always likely to win at SS but at least WWE tried to make Legacy look credible going into the PPV.

The Miz: Did he rob RVD's underpants or what?

Anyway as good as the Miz v Bourne match was I'm getting tired of WWE wasting the Mid card.

Bourne lost to Swagger the last two weeks. Great way to get people interested in him.

Bourne, Miz, Kofi, Swagger, MVP even Mark Henry none of them are getting the right treatment. Then at the end Big Show and Jericho were able to beat up all the lumberjacks but Cena was able to beat Show and Jericho AFTER an RKO.

Looks like its Cena v Orton for the next few PPVs.

    Stupid RAW.

I love how all the lumberjacks get easily swatted away by Show and Jericho before Cena, WHO JUST WRESTLED A MATCH AND TOOK AN RKO (I felt caps were required), cleared out Jericho and Show in an instant. Way to make your midcard babyfaces look good.

Ways to use the Midcard like WWE RAW.

Job them to the "Stars", or have them wrestle one another so half look like muppets and other half like they can only beat muppets.

WTF has happened to poor Freddie he looked so thin, old and sick :(

What was the point of Kevin McCallister sorry Macky Culkin shouldnt he have been at Jacko's burial instead of RAW

    Time for Tricity's Thoughts:

Macaulay Culkin. F'n deadly. Why wasn't he the guest host? Money should make for interesting watching next week. At least he wont be plugging a movie/TV show. Or will he???

Mark, lose the red spandex. It doesn't work.

Mickie. Mickie, Mickie, Mickie. She looked so pissed off at herself at the end of that match. Two botched finishes? Bring back Maryse.

Carlito vs Kofi was the best of the bunch. Nice competitive match, in which both did just enough, coupled with the Superstars result, to make me think that Carlito might actually win. I didn't think about it very long, but without that seed of doubt, wrestling wouldn't be worth watching.

She is injured sadly and to be honest its not as if she was churning out classics before she left. :(
Beth as champion maybe the best option for the Raw ladies, she may never get a reaction but at least she can put on a competent match. :o

I'd imagine Mayweather/Marquez will be brought up a few times.
