daft.ie/Google Maps - security setting problem?

There is a feature on daft.ie called "Show nearby properties" on the map, which I find very useful, if not the most useful feature on their web site. At some point though, I think after they upgraded and slightly redesigned the web site it stopped working. If I click on "Show nearby properies" now, a rotating icon appears and never goes away, property locations never show up.

I tried this in Safari and Firefox on my Mac OSX at home - doesn't work, and also Firefox on Linux at work - same result.

I wrote an email to daft.ie support and all I got from them was "the web site is in perfect working condition", i.e. it is a local problem. Yeah, it's broken in 2 browsers in 2 different operating systems, and that's my "local" problem.

I thought it might be something to do with Flash security settings which you can change somewhere at Adobe.com (yes, your local settings can be changed through adobe.com in case you didn't know), tried to tweak some parameters but it didn't help. Also I understand the locations are retrieved from daft.ie and not Google Maps. The only problem I can think of is that daft.ie tries to open a backward connection to the browser, in which case yes, I'm behind NAT at home and behind a firewall at work.

Any ideas whose problem this can be and how to fix it?

Ubelievable... just figred that the problem was AdBlock, in fact both the Firefox add-on and the one that comes with Safari. I suppose the reason is the URL they retrieve data from has something like "ads" in it. Anyway, I'll leave this post as it may be useful to someone else.
