    That laptop would suit you fine, the link you gave is to a general over view but essentially it would suit all your needs. However it is a 17" laptop which wouldn't be the most portable thing around. Would you not be better going for a 15.4" or the likes? What drew you to the 17" version?

    Don't forget those prices are Ex.Vat. So there'd be 21% to add on. And as mentioned above, check out the sizes before you buy, 17" might be a bit too much to carry around.

    The appeal of the 17" is just more real estate, the laptop would not need to be that portable.
