I'm covering a wedding there this week actually. The only thing that stands out for me is lack of photo space. We are taking a trip elsewhere for photos but when I visited there a member of staff told me that it was planned to have a garden there maybe next year.

Oh I did yes, for Friends of Ben, I fostered with them and got my dog through them. They're a great group.

It is very important to like the staff on your day. I had a hiccup myself on my wedding day, photog went into hosp the night before. I ended up getting a young lad that was just starting out at the last minute and I have to say he really made my day, he was lovely and chirrp.

There was a big fallout in my family beforehand and the great humour of my photographer actually made it all better for me. As p'd off as I was when I looked at him he was so smiley and happy it was contagious. It's kind of what pushed me to become a wedding photographer.

Hi Meisha, well as for Saturday I didnt get to the Louis Fitzgerald, we finished the shots at a stop off location and the bride and groom went off to the hotel.

I think it was disappointing that there would be nowhere to shoot at the hotel and although many people stop off at another location before the hotel this was the first time I have had to do a full shoot at another location. I think the family and bridal party would have been a lot more comfortable had it been at the hotel, and it would have been much more relaxed as there was not an opportunity to sit back for a few minutes and relax with friends, instead it was straight from the church to shooting, usually arrival at the hotel is followed by 10 minutes chatting and relaxing with guests before taking shots and there is not as much pressure to get back to the hotel on time.

As for the hotel as soon as I hear back any comments I will let you now. We had a great day on Saturday and shooting went comfortablly but as I said it is more ideal to have the pics taken at the reception location. I hope this helps you.
