Do 2nd years in Kevin St. get a reading week?

    Hey,

    going into 2nd year now and I remember having a reading week around Halloween in 1st year, just wondering if 2nd years get it? I asked the head of my year and she said no but labs won't be running???

    Can anyone confirm this? BTW am Doing Medicinal Chemistry.

    I'm not on your course, I study Computing. But when I was in second year we got a reading week around Halloween. Some of the lecturers had classes to revise stuff alright but not many people showed up. No labs can be held because they can't cover any new material for reading week.

    Review Week is Week 6 of the academic calander, so it is the week starting Monday 26 October. As has been said, no new material is usually covered. But it isnt strictly a week off either, some lecturers may use it for catch up classes etc.
