Grant Closing Date?

    Is the closing date for handing in your grant application the 28th of August?

    31st August 2009 according to the grant application form. Some Councils/VECs accept them after this date but it's up to their own discretion. Though to be honest if they weren't going to accept my application this year when the details were only released two weeks ago I'd probably have a few words to say to them.

    So its no big deal then that I havent handed in my application form yet? I intend to do it this week.

    Loads of people apply in september as they will only receive their repeat results then.

    Yes, but it is still up to the Council/VEC to accept it... therefore, it is not guaranteed that if you submit an application in September that it'll be successful! Contact your Council/VEC for more information.
