I recently tried to download bit torrent, a site for downloading music files.
Having installed the programme, I went to look for an album only to end up in an odd website. Later on that day, I checked my emails to see an email sent to myself by myself. I had been hacked into and the worse thing was the pictures were sent to everybody in my hotmail contact list. Things got quite odd the next day when I signed into bebo, I was down as playing a game an hour before hand on my profile when I didn't.
Could someone please give me advice on this. I think someonme has a keylogger installed into my computer and is able to tell all my passwords.
One thing for sure is I need to upgrade my spyblocs programme, it is only 2.0

It might sound extreme but i'd back up the media files / docs and wipe the drive.

I don't usually recommend formatting as most malware can be removed but if its a case where someone has your login details then you can never really trust the pc again.

i'll second that, also don't go changing any of your passwords from the infected machine, chances are there is a keystroke logger on there capturing infomation as its typed.
Once you have re built your machne+patched+av+firewall on.
Then go back and change all of your passwords for everything that you use online.

i updated the security system on the computer, plus i deleted a few files. Does anyone reckon I am now safe from a computer hacker?

How do you know your safe? If he got your Bebo login, what else did he get?
Your system has been compromised and imo you should wipe your drive and re-install.
