Holiday - flying from Cork in October

Can anyone offer any tips or advice? We are hoping to go on a 3 or 4 day break at the end of October - to some sunshine ;)! We don't want to break the bank, and really can't go longer than 3 or 4 nights, as it is our first time leaving our Son. Thanks, A.
