If I accept my no.4 choice and a place becomes available in either one of my first 3, can I go for one of them or am I stuck with them. Am i better off waiting to accept? I read the sticky thread on cao already and did not understand the way it was worded.

if you accept your 4th choice you can still be offered the one of the other three above it in the second round of offers
