Just saw that a 2 yo fillie of Overdoses mare, Our Poppet ran today at Deauville. We haven't seen Overdose in action in the UK yet but seems to be a serious horse. Just thinking, might the dam be producing horses worth following...?

My understanding is that it is highly unlikely that Overdose will be seen on any racecourse this year. Out lame with a hoof injury/infection.

I think he may run in France again later this year but yeah, not in the UK un fortunately. Still, I'm gonna keep my eyes peeled for any poppets running. anyone who spots one post the details her please

The 06 and 07 fillies are in training, not sure about the 04 mare (I'd suspect not).

And according to this, she had a Bertolini filly last year, a Clodovil filly born in March this year, and is currently in foal to Exeed & Excel.

I'd definitely be keeping an eye on the french race winner by Dansili. Poppets Treasure looks like a decent prospect considering the pedigree and Overdoses performance:)

Poppets Lovein declared/entered/reserved (I dont know what to call it) for Sunday at York in a handicap. I'm guessing the number 31 beside her name means if 32 other horses pull out then she has the option of running. Please tell me if this is right..

No the numbers mean the opposite of that. Thats the horses elimination number so Indian Diva will be first to be eliminated, Botham 2nd etc.
Your horse is almost guaranteed a run as it only needs one of those weighted above it to pull out.

Poppets Lovein now entered for the listed SCEPTRE STAKES at Doncaster on the Thursday the 10th.

Perhaps the connections think shes better than 73 and theres a lot more to come. She breezed up in that race at newcastle and seems to know what to do now. Should be a decent price for each way, but probably not worth a punt based on unknowns. Watch this space.

Poppets Lovein running in 3.40 EBF Fillies Handicap at Mussleburgh today.

Second favorite at 7/2. Questions over distance - tried for the first time. Good support in the market although She's In The Money looks the one to beat, naped by RP Spotlight.
