    How much are you offering?

I will sell my soul to every person who offers me anything of any worth for it. You can sell something that doesn't exist an infinite amount of times, afterall.

One consolation prize if it turns out God does exist is that I get to see the free for all that results when I pass through.

Yes, I would sell my soul for the right price.

I also have this wonderful box of top quality premium gourmet air. If your offer meets me valuation of it, then you may find yourself the lucky proprietor of said air :)

Do you also adhere to rules and practices of every religious faith, just in case?

Not every rule and practice, I just try to live a good life, though the reasons I do that have nothing to do with religion. If there is a 'good god' at the end of it all though, I would hope that the life I lead will be enough without having spent my life actively worshiping him. :)

That's not really fair on those who have been worshipping all along...

Maybe they get a better status in afterlife? :P

There used to be a website called www.wesellyoursoul.com but it doesn't appear to be active anymore.

Is it considered a body part on ebay? I'd sell mine in a heartbeat to the highest sucker bidder.

That sounds perfectly reasonable to me and it's pretty much how I live my life but we'll have to hope that neither the Christian nor Muslim Gods exist because they don't give a crap how well you live your life, all they care about is that you believe in them:
    John 3:16 wrote:
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

    Qur'an wrote:
If anyone desires a religion other than Islam, never will it be accepted of him; and in the Hereafter he will be in the ranks of those who have
lost all spiritual good. (Koran 3:85)

And whoever does not believe in Allah and His Apostle, then surely We have prepared burning fire for the unbelievers. (Koran 48:13)

Yeah, hope they're wrong. I'm fairly sure the Jewish God is pretty unforgiving as well.

OT: Nice avatar btw, I love the vimes books, I'm reading Feet of Clay for the first time at the moment, read almost all the others. Best Terry Pratchet character IMO!

I would sell my "soul" for anything multiple times over considering its not real and is a tool of abusive religions to keep their sheep in line.

Oh please not my soul, dont take that, without it im nothing. Seriously, who buys this outrageous religious crap?

No, and here is my logic.

A good scientist is never 100% only 99.999999999999etc

In the off chance that the soul is real... then I'd like to keep it. Personaly I'm only 40% atheist 40% pantheist 20% Agnostic to the rest.

Wait! That adds up to 100%

But agnosticism isn't 100% of any religion either.

By that logic you should be picking the religion that you think is least likely to be wrong and whole heartily dedicating yourself to its requirements.

After all, if you won't sell your soul due to a .00000000001 margin of error then why would you risk its eternal damnation for a .00000000001 margin of error?

Meh, I guess I would sell it if the price was right... say, €500

I went to buy a soul once, from a door to door soul salesman. I was intersted so I was like "How much do you want for that soul there?" and he was like "That'll be about 3.50".

It was about this time I realised it wasn't a soul salesman at all, It was the God damn Loch Ness Monster. And I was nagry, I said "Damnit Loch Ness Monster, I ain't givin you no damn 3.50!".

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,857 ✭✭✭Valmont

I don't have to sell my soul, he's already in me.

I'm pretty sure Bart Simpson should blamed more than the church for the propagation of the soul idea, especially in this day and age.

Selling my soul would imply that I believe I have one.

For you, special price my friend ;)
