I turned 31 recently and I have to admit I really am sick of my boring life, im sick of the routine where by its the same thing week by week month by month year by year. Here is a list of things im sick of

1.my job- I make 30k a year doing a job I don't really care for and because of this I only do an acceptable job and will never be promoted

    2. of being overweight and not being able to stick to a routine to sort it out

    3. of the fact that i cant drive and never owned a car

    4. of the fact i dont have a girlfriend and never been in a serious relationship

    5. never been traveling

6.spend most of my money drinking alone at the weekends watching soccer or dvds

To tell the truth I have not enjoyed the last ten years of my life and I feel I dont have the insight or havent had the experiences a person should have at my age and for that reason i feel my personality is somewhat retarded and that people find me boring

Most people are settling down at my age and im waiting for my life to get going.

I think im in the biggest rut of my life and I cannot get out of it because im addicted to my habbits

    Can anyone offer some advice?

    1) Get out of your Job.
We're only here once. Just quit. I hate seeing people doing jobs they hate. Get out before your 62 looking back and thinking "where did all that go"

    2) Look at your diet
Eat healthily. cut the ****. Its easy. You'll feel better for it. Without Doubt

    3) Find your passion
Is there something you love? something you can talk for hours on end about? are in interested in making money? If no, then try and find a passion. Join some clubs, groups, theatre etc.

    4) Get physical.
This goes with look at your diet. Gym it up. Try and work at the weight issue but take it slow. build a better body slowly. Look it as if its a marathon. Dont get pumped about the prospect of loosing your weight in 4 days. Take time and enjoy it.

    5) Get motivated.
There are tonnes of useful blogs and writers online that talk about motivation. Some of these guys online have totally changed my life, and they dont even know it or got a penny for it.

    6) Relax. Get a massage therapy. Learn how to relax. its not a form of hippiness. its lying down and breathing slowly and concentrating only on your breathing

Recognize that your time on this earth only comes around once. Remember this for every decision you don't/do take? Should i have done that? Did i miss out? Am i enjoying this?

Seriously imagine your grabbing the world by the balls that are hanging from the south pole/..look at it and say..I'm going to make the most of this. I'm not gonna be 78 and saying "what a waste, what a shame" Please man you can do this.

Join a gym, somewhere close to work or home. Set a goal, you cant have any cans until you go to the gym for at least an hour. Worked for me. :)
