Put them in burgers (sliced), omelettes and in an Eggs Benedict muffin sandwich with crispy bacon!

Good bread (I like Vogels) toasted.

    Mash the avocado on top

Squeeze of lemon juice and fresh pepper.

    Best breakfast/lunch/dinner.

I like to make guacamole and have it on burgers - esp chicken fillets.

    1 avocado
    1 tomato - chopped finely
    2/3 scallions or 1/2 a red onion
    1 clove of garlic
    handful of coriander
    lime juice
1/2 a chopped chilli (or depends on how hot you like it)

Mash it all up and leave for at least 1/2 an hour before you eat it.

Your body will recognise them as nice since they are LOADED with calories. Still good for you but just in case you were not aware of the fact and in case you were dieting.

Sliced thin and in a burger with grilled chicken and crispy bacon.
They have to be ripe though and preferably Hass not the green skinned type.

Homemade Guacamole is the way forward.

+1 on the guacamole. :-) I sometimes use it as a spread for my sandwich instead of mayo or butter, for a change.

You can add it to a salsa or even make a sauce out of the avocado. :)

Avocados are great for breakfast. Try 1/2 an avocado, a poached egg, 2 slices wholegrain toast and a few slices of tomato. Great way to start your morning and tastes fantastic together.

Get crab meat (can be bought tinned) and put inside half an avacado, dribble with dressing (I like vinaigrette but personal choice!) and it's a lovely lunch/starter - I'm having it for lunch today! :)

Halve the avocado, pull out the stone and fill the hole with balsamic vinegar. Eat with a spoon. Yum! Otherwise mash, spread on toast with salt and pepper.
