converting youtube videos to ipod

    i just downloaded software to convert youtube videos to my ipod. all went well untill i tried to sync the video from my itunes to my ipod. it said it could not sync it for some reason. I have an 30 gb ipod video version 1.3 . can anyone recommend software to download youtube videos that works for my version of ipod ??? any help would be great thanks

    I dont think any software will download flash videos and convert them to mp4. You'll probably need two softwares.

    Xilisoft HD convertor is a good convertor.

    Allows you to select different qualities of mp4.

    I use 'Downloadhelper' for firefox. You can get it for firefox through the browser in tools>add ons and search for it there. Then use 'Videora' (google search will find it) to convert for ipod. All free software and never had a problem with either. Download helper will also download almost any video from any site you visit, which is cool.
