Need some advice on selling my car..

    Hi all,I've got a '99 nissan micra automatic which my sis-in-law gave me but im gonna have to sell it just can't afford insurance tax petrol etc., its in quite good nick and I recently had a mechanic look at it and give it a service so she's running fine..the only thing is the ncts nearly up on it. Does anyone know how I can sell it for some profit? Anyone got any ideas id be grateful..Thanks in advance..;);)

    it would be worth your while paying €50 to see it through an nct, then the car would be worth a substantial amount more than it would without an nct.

    The small automatics, especially the Micra, tend to hold their value fairly well as they're actually good cars. Price? Depends on the mileage and general condition really. Does it have air conditioning, electrics etc? An NCT is a must, not having one can mean up to €300-400 off the selling price. Chances are it'll pass easily.

    Get it NCT'd before selling it. It will make it alot more appealing to a potential buyer. Selling it without an new NCT will be difficult especially in the current market.
