Price in North just took a jump by 20stg for base unit. Been watching for a while.

Best price I can find is Game in Lisburn (shopping centre) and Toys R Us (lisburn).

Wii console with sports packaged includes one Wii remote and numchuck (220stg)
Add wii resort with one wii motion included.
Plus an extra wii motion controller, one extra remote and extra numchuck.

Total price 291 sterling in game.(about 340 Euro depending on exchange rate)

Toys R us little over 300 for same deal

Same offer was 256 sterling in Game until last Friday and I missed it as they sold the last of their lower price units. :(

Told that Nintendo upped the trade price of the Wii about 3 months ago and they are just getting rid of that stock

thanks for that Damien I actually picked one up yesterday in Argos in Newry, got the wii unit with sports game, one controller and nunchuck (standard) and then charger unit, accessories pack and two games of our choice for total of 270 euro.;) didn't think that was too bad and defo better than smiths down here who are charging standard wii unit with one game for 300 euro.

Someone's told a lie there. Smyths are €300 for the console plus two remotes, two nunchucks, Wii Play, Wii Sports, Wii Accessory Pack (tennis racket, golf club, baseball bat and steering wheel) plus any one game of your choice (Wii Fit, Guitar Hero and Rockband excluded).

So basically the above listed offer of just over €300 for the console, two controls, Wii Sports Resort and two motion pluses would be €320 here in Smyths but you also get Wii Play and the accessory pack with it too.

I am lucky enough to posess a Makro tradecard for Belfast store.

    Wii console c/w Wii sports currently = 150 stg + 15% NI vat = €200 @.86
Email from VikingDirect last week had Wiifit down to 50euro (delivered for free)

So for 250 I have Wii + Wii fit. Need extra controller now.

FYI Makro also have EA Sports Active for 30stg + vat = 40 euro
