Crete Resorts

Hey, myself and 4 friends are headin for a week to Stalis in Crete next week, and ive just been reading up on the place and see that the main nightlife in the area is in Malia, the resort right beside it. Having read this article though im a little worried that it's gonna be dangerous place for Irish lads to go out every night. Does anyone have any experince/stories or advice? We're mainly going for the nightlife but we'd rather not get abuse every night just cos we're not british.

howeya was in crete last year but we were based hersonisos which is a mainly irish place, its only down the road from where your staying so would recommend going there. as regards malia 7 out of 18 of us travelled up one night and had no bother what so ever if anything it was the best night of the holiday and i regret not going more nights. its sad to say the irish are bigger dickheads over there.

thanks for lettin me know that man, delighted to hear that its not as bad as I imagined! Will definitely check out hersonisos, and we'll try out malia for a few nights too id say if nothing else just to see what all the fuss is about!
