For a website, put them in public_html. Put 'myfile.foo' in there and then go to www.yoursite.xyz/myfile.foo to make sure it's working.

    Done, works ok.

Checking the site, I noticed that the pages are too wide for computer screen but that is the width of the page on frontpage.

How do I make sure pages fit any computor monitor or is it just playing around? Just means lots of uploading, checking and changing.

Nothing as irritating as having to scroll accross to read a page!

Set the page width to be in percent instead of in pixels

    See this thread:

but in short, make your design no more than 940 pixels wide
