    Read this article, it's interesting.
Soon scientists will be able to reconstruct someones face through dna. For example if a criminal left any traces of DNA at a crime scene they'd be able to figure out exactly what the guy looks like.
Also if they had dna from remains they could put a face to people from the past, etc..

    Discuss :)

    It's true alright.

We may not have the ability to fully reconstruct a human face just yet, but, undoubtedly, the technology will develop and eventually it will be at a level that it—producing a human face from DNA analysis—will be possible.

I think that such a technology would raise many questions, such as how much of a violation of our privacy a technology like this could possibly be.

where I see a problem with this is how do they recreate a face that has lived 30-40 yrs of life,
surely the way you live your live will decide what you look like not your DNA. Heavy smoker or drinker or eater this would change a persons appearance,
plus the lookalike factor which would put a lot of people through the unnecessary process of explaining that they were not the person that belonged to the DNA (that's if your not shot or stabbed by some crazy head the ball first.
