Homebase Clearance Sale (some great bargains to be had)

A great sale on in Homebase this weekend.. yes, I know they have one practically every weekend but think it's a clearance.

Loads of CFL bulbs for 40c and 50c.

Got 3 solar lights for about €3 each.

Some particularly great offers on furniture - for home and garden. For example, I picked up this Garden Coffee Table set (reduced from €190) for €62.

Which Homebase did you see the specials on CFL bulbs ?
Is it a nationwide sale this weekend ?

Any infos would be appreciated as the CFL bulbs are at a nice price.

I priced weedkiller in homebase this week.
1l of Round up was 48 euro :eek:, I bought it in my local agri supply store for 30.

It was in the Sligo branch.

No.. but you do get the added extra of getting to assemble them yourself with a bunch of bolts and a finicky allen key!

I got 2 garden chairs and a table which were stg£300 on their website for €32- €6 for each chair and 20 for the table. Other great bargains there too.

Grand self assembly and yet another allen key to weigh the tool box down and get lost in the bottom of it.

but tbh if you know what your buying they can be grand but I would take some of there prices with a pinch of salt. I bought some 3in1 spray on grease for 7euro a while back reduced from 14euro, really good product which I now use a lot of, couldn't get back to Homebase to get anymore when I ran out but found the same product in the local Builders Merchants for 7euro regular price

Oh, I know well!

Sure their price on the British site is £70 before reduction.. how Homebase Ireland charged €190 for the same item is absolutely ridicoulous.
