Hi, I am looking to join either a kenpo karate club or a kickboxing club in the North Dublin area. I have searched around and I am finding a lot of out of date information about clubs. Does anyone know of any clubs near raheny/ beaumount/ killester area? Are there other females in the clubs?

I'd have absolutely no problem in recommending THIS CLUB.

Mauro Sulcis Italian Kickboxing Pro Champion has recently started classes in our place in Clonshaugh, his kickboxing class is on Mondays at 6.30pm. There are a few girls in the class but it's mainly guys.

You can youtube Mauro and see just how brilliant he is :D

Thanks for all the replies. I'm going to start looking into these clubs. I think this is the hardest part about restarting training..trying to find a club that suits!! If you know of any more clubs, please let me know!

Here's a club in your area which certainly has a good mix of male and female members:

    http://www.karateireland.com/stvincents/

I recommend you check it out. It's Shotokan karate rather than Kenpo, but I think you'll be impressed by the spirit there.

I trained here for a good few years, great club.
Used to be good value, you can go mon and wed and ya get to train on sat for free. Might want to check if they're still doing that.
