Myself and a friend are looking for a twin room in a hotel in Dublin (as central as possible) for the first weekend in September (Saturday and Sunday).

Value is important! am having a look through the usual sites nothing is jumping out. Any ideas appreciated.

I booked a double in The Bridge House Hotel in Parliament Street earlier in the year using Lastminute.com.

It's a no frills operation with mixed reviews. For me it was perfect cheap room, clean sheets & ensuite with shower, not somewhere I would bring somebody I was trying to impress, but centraly located & a roof over my head. Cost me €51.30 for the room.

Would you consider staying 3 nights, there are some good deals with the 3rd night free?

There are some great 5* deals for around e200-300 total for 3 nights

Thank you for all of your suggestions, just booked the D4 Ballsbridge Inn for just €60 per room per night via Roomexhotels.com. That leaves some cash for eating and shopping!
