Have an electric shower that has died. Decided to just replace it but I don't know whether it is mains fed or tank fed. Any idea how I can tell?

If it helps, it's a Galaxy G7000S but I can't find any documentation on it.

    Thanks!

    Hi piininfarina.

If your shower normally just made a quiet buzzing noise it's likely to be a mains fed job .

see if the flow rate drops when you have the kitchen sink cold tap open fully to see.

If,on the other hand it normally made a constsnt whirring noise that changed with the temperature you selected it's more than likely a tank fed setup.

    Thanks.

The galaxy G7000 is a mains fed shower. If you call pulsar they will confirm this to you.

As far as i know you cannot buy from pulsar so you will have to get a plumber to or else buy another type like the Triton T80 which is also a mains fed shower.

Turn on the shower, cold. Go into the attic for a look at your tank.
