my cousin was refused planning permission recently ,no thanks to a neighbour who went out of their way to object. same neighbours have been selling christmas trees for past 10 odd years ,cash in hand. now would revenue be interested in undeclared income from said trees? ..revenge or spite ?:mad:

there's no tax on christmas trees, think you've been missin out while he's making money for the last 10 years..
I'd be more inclined to ensure he has a horse riding accident in November and then cut in on his christams tree venture, feck the revenue they're getting enough off us as it is...

Roll him up in a carpet and throw him off a bridge.

Get his neighbours to go in and try to free a donkey in some field somewhere.
Count on the farmer killing the parents for trying to steal the donkey.

hold a chilli cook off, cut the parents up and make the neighbour eat their parents.

    kinda simple really.

People have every right to object to planning applications

and unless you have solid proof of what money he was making by selling trees you'd be wasting your time

    step 1 - **** in a brown paper bag
Step 2 - Bring brown paper bag to his front door
step 3 - Set bag alight
step 4 - Ring doorbell and run like fcuk.

Or the wheelie bin full of water trick.

    Both, really.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

Your going to declare tax evasion on a man selling Christmas trees? Are you the grinch?

The planning authority wont take any notice of an objection unless there is valid reason for it. So basically, if the objection made a difference to the application, that means that the proposal was going to interfere with your neighbour in some way and then they were more than likely right to object.
You could always start selling trees as well a couple of Euro cheaper than him.

    Revenge is for losers.

    Especially over a planning objection.

You could find out what the neighbour finds objectionable with the plans, and, you know... accommodate them?

    ahhh yes, sorry about that!
OP, DON'T FORGET ABOUT THIS PART OF THE PLAN!

Buy all his Christmas trees every year before he gets a chance to sell them. He'll never bother you again.
