And since there are many genuine cases applying for this fund (indeed, many more who look for it when it regularly empties early in the academic year iirc) don't even consider defrauding something like this.

I really wouldn't joke about stuff like that. I tell you right now that without that fund and others like it there are people who could simpley not afford college, and in an age where everyone has a degree that WOULD be a serious hinderence in any profession.
