Octocon, Ireland's National Science Fiction Convention, is taking place this yera in the Camden Court Hotel, on the 10th and 11th of October.

This year's guests of honour are noted comic writer and novelistMike Carey, and Chairman of the European Science Fiction Society and huge figure in Irish fandom, Dave Lally.
