Depends on the quality of the stream.. e.g. if it's a high quality video/audio then it'll use more of your download allowance..

You should get a usage monitor, if it's midband you're using, 3, o2 etc provide software to monitor your usage. However it's not always reliable so check online e.g.: - http://mythree.ie if you're a 3 customer.

I can't see what is girly about the question.

At 1Mbps stream quality about 8

At 256kbps stream quality about 32

At 2 channel ISDN streaming speed (128kbps) maybe 2 or 3 a day.

True Broadcast /DVD SD MPEG4 quality downloads about 1 to 2 feature films. (A dual layer DVD is 9GByte)
True Broadcast HD BluRay quality downloads about about 12 to 20 minutes.

I haven't had breakfast yet, so I may be wrong on the 10ms.

5G is not enough to watch much video. Last 30 days without watching video or any ISO downloads we used 11Gbyte. (4 users just email & browsing).

My son went on a video watching spree a few months ago and that was over 2GByte a day before we removed the WiFi card from his laptop (18Gbyte in about a week!).

As long as your only watching a few a day you should be fine, and it's just you, not anyone else. If you sit for hours watching youtube then you won't have a big enough allowance.

You'd need proper dsl for that.
