Sketches Needed For Charity Moleskine® sketch book

Sharing with the Talent Irish pool of Folks I know.

Thought Bubble Festival and Travelling Man Comic shops to put together a Moleskine® sketch book which is being run by The Culture Vulture and The Big Draw to undertake a “Travelling Moleskine®” project for charity.

A Moleskine® is an iconic black book, beloved by creative types (Picasso, Van Gogh, Hemmingway etc). It can be a notebook, diary, sketch book, city guide or planner. A number of these iconic sketch books have been sent out with the aim filling them with artwork and sketches; culminating in a fabulous arty party and exhibition in October to help raise funds for the Campaign for Real Drawing (Registered Charity No: 1114811).

The Campaign for Real Drawing raises the profile of drawing as a tool for thought, creativity, social and cultural engagement through a series of programs such as The Big Draw. The Campaign has created a new regard for the value of drawing to help people see, think, invent and take action. Its long-term ambition is to change the way drawing is perceived by educationalists and the public.

Each Moleskine has a theme and ours is 'Book of Magic' (this has nothing to do with the Vertigo series).

What we require is a quick sketch that fits into our theme that we can print out and add to our sketch book. The normal approach would be to physically send the sketch book out and then have it passed around, however, the timescales are a little too tight for this. The Moleskine® pages are A6 sized, but if sketches can be sent electronically, they can be readjusted to the appropriate size, printed off and inserted.

If you are interested please email me at sabrinapeyton@hotmail.com, our deadline is September 20th!

All sketches must be all ages and be signed with your location (i.e. City or State or Country).
