you get a letter at the end of the month telling you how much you owe.
just ring them and tell them that you didnt mean to buy it !!!
i got €15 off my first order and i got something that was €13 so i got it for free :D not sure if you can do it anymore though.
its a good website and quick delivery

They charge 43% interest on purchases too, so better cancel that quickly.

ok i just rang them their and the women on the phone said she didn't know if it had gone through yet as it is with the credit department at the moment and there not there until tomorrow. She then said to call back and check tomorrow and she would leave a note on my account saying i called about it. So hopefully it will work out ok.
Cheers lads thanks for the replies.

And remember if you order any console of any kind with littlewoods using a discount code, they'll cancel it on you (with no explanation as per usual). It happened to me and a few others.

There should be no problem cancelling the wii you ordered though, and be thankful you didn't mistakingly order with a CC, because they could have the money reserved for a month or more on your CC.

well there's no way i would have gone that far with giving them my card details but the good news for me is that the status now says "credit rejected" so i thinks that should be ok for me.

another thing though, does anyone know what this means on my account status.

    Credit limit €400.00
    Available to spend €400.00
    Balance €0.00

400 euro to spend or is it how much i can get credit on???

It means you have a credit limit of E400 to spend in there catalogue.

its a good website and quick delivery

The site is good, but it is very expensive when compared to regular high street retailers.

Does anyone know what their returns policy is for clothes? I mean if the item doesn't fit/suit, not if it's damaged.

    Thanks.

You can return clothes that dont fit. Thing is, if you return stuff you end up out of pocket as they do not have free returns. I had to return a pair of trousers once and it cost E7.50 to return them, never bought any clothes off them again after that.

I received 2 exactly the same items from Littlewoods 1 that I ordered 1 i did not. I was only invoiced for 1, so I contacted Littlewoods Ireland to let them know they could collect the extra item. They had not noticed and instead of just arranging to collect it, I got an email saying 'I am pleased to inform you we have amended your account please post the additional item back'. I looked at my account and they had added the cost of the item I had not ordered! So they send me something I havent asked for, charged my account and want me to trek to the post office, queue up and post it back! In the mean time my account shows I owe for the ruddy thing.
There have been emails back and forth. They said they would pay for return postage but what about my time, petrol and parking?
I have told them they have 30 days to collect it as im sure this classes as unsolicited goods. Waiting for a reply.
So warning if this happens to you stay nothing, Wish I had not bothered letting them know and just kept my free item. Shows it doesnt pay to be honest!

Just tell them you have sent it back. Also tell them to un-modify your account immediately, or you'll get your solicitor on to it. This is an unauthorised charge, effectively fraud on their part.
