    Hello there,

    I'm making my way to Barcelona in September for a week or so.

    Simple query really: Can anyone recommend some good, decent accommodation there? I've got the guidebooks and the choice is pretty daunting.

    It can get very active around the city centre late at night I'm told, so somewhere off the main thoroughfares would be good. Not looking for bargain bucket cheap, but not 5 star either.

    I'll probably find something myself before this gets a reply but it'd be nice to hear people's experiences and suggestions.
