Look at chainreaction cycles, Slane cycles,(both have stores aswell as online shops. Also try wiggle, (google them for links) For that money look at Focus, Boardman (Halfords) and remember for another €200 you could get a carbon frame eg Focus Cayo. The Battaglin on wiggle has a Rival groupset and is good value at €1000 also the Boardman at Halfords site is excellent value. Good luck

Are you tied to 1000 or can you sneak higher? Would you be happy buying online or would you prefer to chat to folk in a lbs?

I would'nt bother with a Kelly's bike. Try a Focus or a Boardman. Just remember, look for the best frame you can buy at that price range, it'll be better if you want to upgrade later. Alternatively have a look on ebay.co.uk

Where can you get the Kelly's IRC 5.9 for €900 rinleez? It's a nice looking bike with a good group set. Have been looking at the Kelly's for a while as thinking of buying one but there seems to be very limited information on them. I was in CycleWays a few times and they'd the lower IRC 3.9 for €1,195 and the ARC 1.9 for €750 so would be very interested in knowing where you can get the IRC 5.9 for €900 as that seems like a great price.
Anyone have a Kelly's IRC 6.9 by any chance and how do you find it?
    Thanks

Any opinions on the chainreaction sale at the moment? Full Carbon frame for under €1000 - is this too good to be true?

My advise is to go for the Focus Cayo 2009 from wiggle.co.uk. Best bike for 1200 euro delivered. Carbon frame, shimano 105's. Check out other boards reviews by using the search over on right.

Go the 1.7, its a hell of a bike for that cost.

Of course I paid significantly more having to buy it in the Republic :(

Just put aside another 90 or so to get a better saddle.
