Ran the half marathon route last week and it was a joy. Lovely quiet roads and a great run for a PB. Unfortunately for me its on the 20th September at 11am when i should have just completed the berlin marathon. No i wont do the marathon in two hours but with the hour forward over there 12 midday will be 11 here.
A decent t shirt comes with it. A techno or whatever you call them. Its a sunday and ideal for all of us that hate to travel the busy roads on a saturday.

Pity they aint more races in Kilkenny.

Its an ideal half in preperation for the big one in Dublin which is 5 weeks later.
I dont know what website it is on.

I might go down for the 10K, doing Dingle half week before that and Dublin half the week after...not sure about three halfs in a row. Was gunna do that 10K in Blessington on the 19th but got cheap flights to Leeds the other day so opted for Leeds -v- Gillingham instead. :D

    Entered this today!
    €35 for a half is ok with a running T Shirt included I think, 10k is €25.
Looking forward to a flat half and a PB - my only other competitive outing at this distance was Achill!
Any good hotels in the area? Not too expensive...4 weekends between it and Dublin is ideal too

you should be able to get a deal on a hotel..

i'd try the hibernian hotel (try and get an old room) first, if that doesn't suit newpark hotel, rivercourt hotel or hotel kilkenny (all big four stars with pools etc) and if the budget is really tight days hotel...
