Is there any easy way to tag a couple of albums with mp3 info?

I know programs like mp3tag can get their information from amazon or freedb but Theses albums are bootlegs so there is no official mp3 info online.

I have the tracklisting on text file is there any way to transfer them?

Windows media player does this. Right click on the album and find album info. it brings up a search box, you browse by album, and then click Apply. It will then apply the track names etc. to the album youve selected.

MP3Tag will do it, go to the likes of www.cdwow.ie, www.play.com etc and copy the tracklisting to notepad, call the notepad file rename.txt or whatever, MP3Tag will allow you to get names from text file, you just specify a few commands (like %n - %a - %t) and it can rename the mp3s from that list

Thanks for the replies but the albums are unoficial bootlegs so i cant get any info from cdwow or amazon. Its Velvet Underground Ultra Rare Tracks. If it was just one album i would type in each song buts its 4 albums

Having said that i think i will end up entering song titles one by one

    Mediamonkey

    http://download.cnet.com/MediaMonkey-Standard/3000-2141_4-10109807.html?part=dl-101733&subj=dl&tag=top5&cdlPid=11002265

You can autotag from filename and there's 4 or 5 options so you should get as near the right info. Then properties on each track and there you can correct the info.
Also autotag from amzon and sites like that.

Love media monkey myself, but still havent worked out how to add sources for tagged other than the default amazon , which finds 90% of the info.
There was a nice script that searched google for images but doesnt seem to be working anymore.

I had a script for discogs, registered for the site as it said you had to and no joy.

Generally i just put in the album name and google images or there's the old mail order pages for pictures.
