Have a christianing coming up, plan to wear white jeans, wide leg fitted and a grey top from river island. Grey top has little black bow on it. It is in bright pink also. Can't post a pic at the mo.Was thinking a small white cardi to go over this? or one that just drapes, nothing too long as short!!!.

Has anyone seen any nice cardis anywhere?

    Possibly too much white imo.

Try Bay and coast. Coast always have small shrugs and little cardigans. Havent seen any pure white cardigans anywhere to be honest. Might be difficult coming into winter. Maybe try buying online on asos or something. Theres very little that can go wrong with a cardigan!

edit: Is that what youre looking for? Or maybe something plainer

Zara do a load of basic cardis in a wide range of colours (definitely white and black anyway) and they're either €14.95 or €19.95, can't remember. Good quality too. I have a few in different colours and they've washed well. They have a few different styles - long, regular, 3/4 sleeves. Have a look, you might find something.

I'd sort of agree with insert_gear about being a lot of white. How about sprucing it up with maybe red shoes, handbag, earrings? A belt, too, perhaps, if the outfit was capable of taking one. Just something bright to contrast the white and the grey top. Good luck anyway and enjoy the day! :)

    Thanks bluedolphin,
have red shoes so could go with them and a small red cardi. Maybe grey belt if could get one somewhere? Have a white one but it is only a thin one.

I bought a lovely white cardi in Topshop there last week - but it's a long cardi. So may not be what you're lokoing for.

Perhaps a silvery shrug maybe. That way you could stick to white, grey and silver.

I personally wouldnt put red with grey. Possibly a cobalt blue, a turquoise or a purple...
