    Think thats bad?
I know a lad, from Brasília, joined the national police as a cadet, did his basic and then went to college (like, the army cadets, they pay for your college and you work x-amount of years to "pay them back"). When he was finished college he was stationed in Rio, worked for about 3 years, mostly desk stuff and VIP escort crap.

One day there is a massive riot in a slum, about 50 young males, all aged between 13 and 17, all orphans or run aways, were running around the place with guns and knives and generally ****ing **** up, by the time the cops got there they were all gone and laid low for a few weeks.

Anyway, one day my mate is sent out with 15 other cops in a few roit vans in full gear, he thought they were just rounding them up to arrest them, they storm into a building, use cable ties to restrain all the kids, throw them in the van and drive about 14 miles out of town to some waste land, my mate and most of the other lads are bundled back into the van by their bosses and sent back to their offices or whatever.

Mate bought out his contract a week later and moved to Ireland to finish his masters within 3 months, has lived here since.

doesn't take a genius to figure out what happened to the young lads...
