Does it make any difference if your tyres are worn to different levels?

About a year a go I got a puncture which was close to the wall and had to replace the tyre.

Now I'm about to change the other three tyres and wondering would I be best just to change all 4?

AFAIK you should have the same thread levels on each axle, but I dont think it matters if its different on the front than the back. Best option is to ask whoever is changing them, they would be able to advise you best.

It maybe no harm to get them tracked after you replace all 4 or 2.
I usually swap my front to the rear after 15k miles and usually replace them in twos.

I'd change all 4, keep newish one for the spare, and get your tracking checked, the 2 rear and 2 fronts should be wearing at about the same rate, unless you only make right turns :D
