    Hi,
I was away in oz since last september, my insurance stopped last august with quinn direct who i was insured with for the year, the year before i was insured with fbd. Can i still claim for 2 years NCB, thought this was obvious but when i tried using insure.ie it said since my insurance was over 3 months ago my NCB might have expired!! This is a load of crap!!!!!!!!
I'm trying to get insured on a bmw 325ci btw
25, full licence and possible 2 years ncb!

when i got insured a second time the advice i was given was that it expired after 3 years.
You are best to ring them and get it confirmed though.

ok, just talking to my sis, apparently my ncb with fbd would have been transferred over to quinn last year so i should still have 2 years ncb?

Sounds right, as long as they were 2 complete years

Enquired this with Quinn Direct when I was insured with them and was told it was two years but you are probably best to check again to be sure to be sure and they have differnet rules for different customers (nothing would surprise me too much with Quinn Direct).

Yeah they were 2 consecutive years, found my ncb form from quinn from last august and it has the 2 years on it! :) Sure the insurance is a bargin now at only 1200 or so!
