I wanted to know, can you carry on some results in this years leaving cert. to next years if you want to repeat some subjects.

    English I take it :L

Sorry, in some schools you can carry over the points, and do seperate subjects

For example you're happy with Irish, you can replace it with Business say, and do that instead for the year.

You can't combine points from 2 sets of results.

However, you can carry over subjects for matriculation.
As in, if you passed English, Irish, Maths, French etc you don't have to repeat them.

But how about if your not happy with the points you got this year, does that mean you have to repeat the entire leaving cert again, let's say you needed 430 and you only got 230.
