No its actually nothing like it!!
Since when is Torres from Hull???

Walsh is a Carlow man, and now that he sees the whole financial thing that bought oops or shud i say brought him to Wicklow has fallen apart!!!
Micko is leaving, Tom is leaving as the Wicklow Sponsors Ballymore Properties are struggling bad it seems :(

So Tom has finally decided to come home. It won't be easy for him to be accepted again as the co panel & a lot of supporters are against his return.

I agree he screwed us over big time especially this year where he said to Luke Dempsey that he'd play for Carlow....then suddenly decided to play Rugby
And then somehow was tempted back to play 1 more time for Wicklow by Micko after a late night visit (with or without a brown envelope) to Toms home in Fenagh, Co Carlow!!!

I have no idea how this will work for Carlow. Yes he is a great addition to our side, but then again he let us down big time and players will refuse to play with him i am sure too!
    Its a mess really!

Is this not Richie Kavanagh territory? Face her for Mount Leinster there Tom. Stay wi' her, stay wi' her!

On a more serious note, if i was the Carlow Co Board i'd tell Tom Walsh to take a run and jump. Playing with neighbouring counties is not wrong, but when you've promised to throw your lot in with your native county its total backstabbing! And is Micko definitely leaving Wicklow? We could do with him in Limerick. The final piece in the jigsaw.

Wicklow are hardly Liverpool. More like a move from Burnley to Hull.

Traditionally Carlow have always had the upper hand over Wicklow and, the Micko era apart, have tended to outperform them in the Championship.
Wicklow hadn't won a championship game this decade until last year. Great progress this year alright but with a good manager in Luke Dempsey at the helm Walsh will know that similar if not better progress is certainly possible with his home county.
