There's also a barber in Lower George's Street, Dun Laoghaire, who does a dry cut on Monday & Tuesday for a fiver. I haven't tried it out yet and so I can't comment on the quality but I will be giving it a go over the next week or two......

Any time I go in there, I always end up getting one of the "larger and older" Polish women.
Mind you for a fiver you can't go wrong.

Grafton Barber used to be the place I would go to,

Can't be arsed paying €20 for a haircut anymore though!

This polish place in Lower Liffey Street, opposite to GameStop / chippers. €5 to 7 euros and nice people there.

I have tried the one around the quays. Probably one of the worst in town!

went there once as i thought, i dont really care about haircuts, just wanted to get it trimmed when i gets long i.e. 2 or 3 blade back and sides and trim on top. But my god it was a terrible cut , really really terrible. people actually remarked about my hair which had never happened before. beware!

Theres no doubt that the grafton barber gives a top class haircut, everytime. Just went to Linda's barbers in temple bar,on crow street. 8 euro it was, I think its 10euro in the afternoon or after 12 midday. Great haircut to be fair, and 8 euro, and no waiting or loud music.....So i'll be going to linda in future, 8 quid and great cut.

Knights in Stephens Green shopping centre, €10 for a wash and cut student special before 12. They dont check your card as long as you look "youngish"

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,239 ✭✭✭Elessar

Grafton barbers in malahide do a student price every weekday before 12 - dry cut only 9 euro. Quality.

Been in the one on the quays loads of times, always got a fine haircut.
Think it might be €6 now, and that's Mon-Wed AFAIK.
