I don't think it matters what creed or indeed race somebody is. If they to play then why shouldn't they?

I also mod GAA and here's what I think.

This thread, if let go, will mean nothing but trouble given the subject matter and based on my past experience around boards. I still don't see any good reason to let it run.

Now, if you can give me a good reason why this thread should remain open, I'll consider it.

What you don't want to be doing is posting flippant responses to any questions I might ask.

does it matter in all fairness what religion a person is in this country? i couldnt tell ya whether one gaa player goes to mass or not, cos it doesnt matter one bit.

cant see any point in discussing it, it will turn into a debate non GAA related.

Im a member of the Church of Ireland myself, love watching G.A.A but never played it. Would love to know more about how these two players got involved with the G.A.A and would love to hear from anyone who knows of other non catholic inter county players.
Why not just ban the IRA heads.
    You'd be doing your job.

Sure why don't we start a thread asking what players have corn flakes instead of weetabix in the morning?

Oh My God, I thought the GAA was past this for about 70 years.

I dont care if I get banned for saying this but anyone who has a problem with a non catholic playing GAA is a dickhead.

Im officially catholic but not practicing, had to join so i could get educated in this country.
