Back To The Future in HD on ITV.

    Just a heads up, I read over on Digital Spy that ITV will be showing BTF 2 in HD on the 22 August at 4:55. I believe BTF isn't out in Blu Ray so it will cool to see it for the first time in HD. Unfortunately it's the second BTF but still a great watch at the same time.

    Isn't HD TV somewhere near equivilent to DVD quality anyway?

    Think they can broadcast up to 720p. DVD is 480p AFAIK.

    Pretty noticeable difference I'd say.. especially on a HD TV!

    ITV broadcast in 1080i (I think 1440x1080)

    You can take your 'Star Wars' and 'Lord of The Rings'...

    .. this is the finest trilogy of films ever made IMO.
