Ryanair and luggage

Sorry if this question has been asked before - but did a search and couldn't find it.

Travelling Ryanair to France with 2 young kids and I know that they are going to try and screw me somewhere re: luggage!!

I have paid my €10 per bag fee. Then the baggage info says that each passenger is entitled to check in a max of 3 bags with a combined weight of 15kgs. Questions!

Does my €10 bag fee = 3 bags up to 15kgs or am I entitled to more now that I have paid the €10?
Does 15kgs have to include my hand luggage?
With the kids I will have to bring bottles, changing bags etc on board - will this all have to be included in both the weight restriction or the no of bags restriction??

Sounds like I need a degree to travel with these lot!

    Thanks in advance

The 10 euros buys you the right to bring 3 bags witha summed/conbined weight of 15kgs.

Without the 10euro payment you can put nothing in the hold of the plane.

Your hand luggage isnt included in the limits but it cant be very big either.

    hope this helps!

    DeV.

An addendum to the previous reply.

Ryanair will allow 10kg carry on handluggage for each passenger without additional cost.

Hand Luggage (carry on) can be up to 10kgs, but the bag must meet the dimensions provided by ryanair. You can find these on the ryanair website! As you have 4 passengers, you could bring on a total of 4 bags, each with a weight limit of 10kg each!

Just for clarification - ergo I can bring my 15kgs (x3 paid for bags) and a further 10kgs x 4 people?

    85kgs??

if you have paid for 3 bags then yeah each person can put 15kg in the hold and each person is allowed carry 10kg onto the plane as part of cabin baggage

the cabin baggage dimensions are 55cmX40cmX20cm and ryanair claim its only one bag per passenger for hand luggage but they are not really enforced (outside of germany where they can be very strict and i have seen people turned back before going through security), everywhere else seems to to be lax on the cabin bag issue, just back from norway where i saw one woman carrying numerous bags onto a ryanair plane

assuming the children are over 2, children under 2 can't bring any baggage and don't get a seat either.

Also you need to check you've paid for a bag for each passenger, not 3 bags for 1 passenger, when the 15kg limit for all 3 bags applies.
