For dresses, and normal nice daytime wear stuff.

Shops like Awear and H&M, as River Island and Topshop are a bit expensive for me!

    Thanks:rolleyes:

What about Mango? They can do some really good basics at good prices.

What is your budget and what are you looking for?

Hmm well I dunno really then 'cause you've just ruled out so much of the high street! You can always find some bargains in Topshop and River Island though, and h&m isn't expensive in comparison.

Have you had a look in Dorothy Perkins 'cause they have been sporting some on-trend pieces as of late and seem pretty reasonably priced, in my opinion anyway.

Also, you could check out some of the smaller shops in the Ilac Centre because they tend to sell things at really cheap prices! Not too sure what they stock though as I've never been in any of them.

Stradivarius in the Jervis centre are great - I have a couple of nice day dresses from there all for well under 50 as well as skinny jeans in cool colours for 20 euro. I can't go in there without buying something. :o

Berska can sometimes be good for bits too but is a little more "teenagery"! I have a lovely black dress with big coloured flowers from there that I can't wear without at least one person asking me where I got it - it was only 20!

Also the "young" section of Zara - i think it's called TRF or something - it's cheaper than regular Zara and does some nice dresses, although can be a little short at times.

Yeah Dorothy Perkins is good - they give good student discount so if you know anyone with a student card get them to buy the stuff for you!!!

Try buying online. Topshop and River Island have their sale stuff on their websites too but you'll get it at decent exchage rate unlike the ridiculous prices they charge instore.

    New look is good too!

I love Topshop, Urban Outfitters, H&M, Zara and Next is good for tees and tanks. Don't bother buying tops in River Island, the quality is hideous. Any top I have bought there has always shrunk in the wash (and I wash everything at 30 or cold). They are ridiculously overpriced as well considering as a result of the shrinking, you only get one wear out of them.

Henry st is your best bet probably. Starting from the spire and working down

Pull and Bear on your left. Great for funky tshirts and decently priced denim skirts

    A-wear on your right

Arnots complex on your left - New Topshop has opened that has all their concessions in it, thats also where mango, french connection, miss sixty, benneton and miss selfridge is

    Zara on your right

H n M on your right - god i love that shop. brilliant for basics

At the end of henry st on your left theres the Jervis shopping centre. Big topshop that has more of there basics and own collection, miss selfridge, next, and upstairs theres Bershka and Stradivarius which are spanish shops, similar to pull and bear that are also great for basics.

Theres a new arnotts the jervis, warehouse is upstairs, but they have loads of funky stuff downstairs too.

There's a new large branch of No Name in the Stephens Green Centre where Sasha used to be. Now i know what you're thinking (No Name  ) but they actually have some nice stuff! And very cheap.

I went into the new American Apparel shop across from Trinity the other evening and i thought it was possibly the worst tackiest shop i ever saw.

If you don't have much money for buying clothes watch the sales in the shops you listed as being too expensive. You could pick up lovely clothes for less than Penneys prices. Or TK Maxx and ebay can be good.
