Hi , I'm training for DCM 09 ( which would be marathon number 7) and for the first time ever am suffering with a nagging knee and ankle pain which wont go away and is seriously disrupting my training to the point where I think I might have to drop out.
I've been very lucky in the 5 years I've been running and have never needed a physio before.
Can anyone recommend a good physio in Dublin city centre or Dublin West who wont just say "rest for 6 weeks " ?
    Thanks a million
    LL

Owen in the physio company in temple bar is just your man. he does marathons as well so is pragmatic when it comes to getting injuries sorted and getting back running. i play rugby and he always gets me ready for the next match even if I am not 100%. www.thephysiocompany.com they do have clinics elsewhere but have no idea if they would be near you.

Rugby King really likes that company considering half his posts relate to them;)

You could try Sports Med on Kildare St. None better in the city centre in my opinion. Very much an active rehab program and if you are looking for a physio company with athletes of many sports working on their staff, this is your place.

Roy Brennan in the Iveagh Fitness Club, I find him excellent, have had treatments for all sorts from Osteitis Pubis to torn muscles to recovery from broken bones.

No attachment just used to play for a team that used him.

Ciaran Fitzpatrick is the best in the business. Have sent you a PM with his number on.
