There's a good few decent pubs in Tramore IMO. But possibly the best craic ever was when a few of us from work went to Martha Powers in Queen Street. Only draft beer was Guinness, no coolers for beer, but we had a great night, Martha herself was very accommodating and a laugh.

Another decent place for a good pint and a bitta craic, is Hearneys in Dunhill!

Saratoga in Woodstown is also a good spot, trad night on the 1st friday of every month. there is also a Mussel festival being held here on 4th/5th of Sept which is usually a good craic + free shelfish:p

I thought that we'd be asked to leave or would be given the cold shoulder, but Martha and her regulars were very nice and accommodating to the whole group.

Where the Vic pub is.. Just off the main st or past the post office / grand hotel.

Marthas frequently has young(sh) non regulars. Its been reviewed by various pub groups who wouldst be regular also. It can sometimes be hit and miss, true, but most like that about it. Best visiting time is after 11sh and not pissed acting the eejit. Weekends, depending on when in the year, are different. Probably the best time over weekdays. Race week and christmas time is an example of such, often packed out with groups of people in their late 20s to early 40s.

In general, most won't have an issue going. If you are allowed in, then there isn't an issue. If your not welcome, you wouldn't have been let in:) it can be a bit off putting if there is only a few in there, as its a different type of place most folk would be used to. The older generation being an exception mostly.
